WHO QUALIFIES FOR MAZDACARE® COURTESY SERVICE VEHICLES?

The MazdaCare Courtesy Service Program is designed exclusively for Mazda CX-60, CX-30, CX-5, and Mazda3 owners that are still in warranty and is subject to vehicle availability, program T's & C's, and only applicable if you purchased your vehicle after the 1st July 2024

Who qualifies for a Mazda Courtesy Vehicle?

 

Courtesy vehicles are available to customers of Mazda3, CX-5, CX-30, and CX-60 models, provided the vehicle is still within its active warranty and service plan period.

How long can I use the Courtesy Vehicle?

 

The vehicle is available for same-day use only, while your car is in the workshop for scheduled servicing.

Will I receive the same model as my own vehicle?

 

Not necessarily. The program is designed to give you the opportunity to experience a different model within the Mazda range.

What if no Courtesy Vehicle is available at the time of booking?

 

Dealers will coordinate bookings in advance. You’ll be asked whether you require a Courtesy Vehicle before your service appointment, and availability will be prioritized accordingly.

Can I use a Courtesy Vehicle for long-distance trips?

 

Use is limited to a maximum of 200km on the day of your booking.

What should I do if the Courtesy Vehicle is damaged while in my care?

 

Any damage or accidents must be reported immediately to the Mazda dealership that issued the vehicle. The following steps must be taken:

  • Report the incident to SAPS within 24 hours
  • Provide a case number to Mazda
  • Submit a completed insurance claim form within 3 days

All maintenance and repairs must be carried out by an authorised Mazda dealer or approved repairer.

Failure to follow this process may result in the driver being held liable for the full cost of repairs and could breach the insurance agreement.

Mazda provides insurance cover for the duration of the loan, excluding:

  • Personal items
  • Damage resulting from intentional, negligent, or unlawful behaviour
  • Any actions that void the insurance policy (e.g., driving under the influence, reckless behaviour)

An excess of R4,500 per incident applies. In cases of gross negligence, the driver will be liable for the full cost of the damage or loss.

Is Roadside Assistance included with the Courtesy Vehicle?

 

Yes, MazdaCare Roadside Assistance is included.

Is fuel provided with the Courtesy Vehicle?

 

Yes, the Courtesy Vehicle will be supplied with fuel.
