1. Organiser
This promotional competition (“Competition”) is organised by Mazda Southern Africa (“MSA” or “the Organiser”) in collaboration with Candlelight®.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa who are 18 (eighteen) years or older at the date of entry.
2.2 The following persons are not eligible to participate: employees, directors, members, partners, agents or consultants of the Organiser, their advertising agencies, affiliated companies, suppliers, dealers, or any person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Organiser, including their immediate family members (“Disqualified Persons”).
3. Competition Date and Entry Period
3.1 The Competition will take place on the 27th February 2026 from 17:00 to 23:00 at the Candlelight® event taking place at the Oyster Box Hotel in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
3.2 The final closing time for entries will be 23:00 on the event date. No late entries will be accepted.
3.3 Only entries received during the stated entry window will be considered valid.
4. How to Enter
4.1 Attendees may enter the Competition by scanning the official QR code printed on the Mazda leaflet provided at event registration.
4.2 Participants must complete and submit the official online entry form in full, including the required details:
- Name
- Surname
- ID Number
- Email Address
- Contact Number
4.3 Entry into the Competition is free. Standard data charges may apply.
4.4 Only one (1) entry per person will be permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
4.5 Incomplete, inaccurate, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. The Prize
5.1 Participants stand a chance to win 1 (one) Yatta Sunset Serenade Hamper valued at R3,000.
5.2 The hamper includes the following items:

5.3 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any item in the hamper with a product of similar value should circumstances require.
5.4 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 One (1) winner will be selected by means of a random draw conducted by the Organiser within 5 (five) business days after the Competition closing date.
6.2 The winner will be contacted telephonically and/or via email using the contact details provided on the entry form.
6.3 If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 (forty-eight) hours of notification, or fails to provide required information, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.
6.4 No participant will be eligible to win more than one prize.
7. Publicity
7.1 By entering the Competition, participants agree that the Organiser may publish the winner’s name and photograph on the Mazda Southern Africa website and/or official social media platforms for promotional purposes.
7.2 The winner’s consent will be obtained prior to publication in accordance with applicable legislation.
8. Personal Information and Data Protection
8.1 By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information by the Organiser for purposes of administering the Competition.
8.2 Where participants opt in, personal information may also be used for future marketing communication.
8.3 Personal information will be processed in accordance with:
- The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
- The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
- The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000
8.4 Participants may opt out of marketing communication at any time.
9. General Conditions
9.1 By entering this Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organiser, whose decision is final and binding.
9.2 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition and/or Prize at any time where deemed necessary.
9.3 The Organiser shall not be held liable for any technical failures, network issues, or entry disruptions affecting participation in the Competition.
9.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any costs incurred by participants in entering the Competition.
9.5 The winner may be required to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification form to ensure compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
10. Indemnity
All participants and the winner indemnify the Organiser, its advertising agencies, affiliated companies, suppliers, dealers and partners against any claims arising from participation in this Competition or use of the Prize.
