Competition TERMS & CONDITIONS

ABSA App Mazda2 Competition

1. This Competition is organised by Mazda Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd trading as Mazda Southern Africa, Registration Number: 2013/113879/07 and Absa Bank Limited (“Absa”) trading through its Vehicle and Asset Finance Division (Registration No 1986/004794/06) (“Organisers”). The following terms and conditions apply solely to the “702 Walk the Talk Win a Mazda” promotional competition (“Competition”) offered by the Organisers.

2. The Competition starts at 00h00 on 26 June 2026 and ends at 23h59 on 20 July 2026 (both dates inclusive) (“Competition Period”). These dates may change at the sole discretion of the Organisers and entries received before or after the Competition Period will not qualify,are invalid and will, therefore, not be considered.

3. The Organisers may revise, change, adjust or vary these terms and conditions.

4. If/when the Organisers revise, change, adjust or vary these terms and conditions:

4.1 they will do so at their sole discretion;

4.2 they will notify the Participants about any such amendments by publishing them in the same location(s) as these terms and conditions. Such amendments shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions by or on behalf of the Organisers; and

4.3 no Participant will have a claim against the Organisers or the Organiser’s representatives because of that fact.

5. By participating in the Competition, Participants are deemed to have read, understood and consented to these terms and conditions and they agree to be bound by each term in these terms and conditions. Information regarding the Competition that is published on authorised advertising material will also form part of these terms and conditions.

6. Organisers’ decisions regarding any matter relating to the Competition will be final and binding on Participants and no further correspondence will be entered into in that regard.

7. Who may qualify as a participant?

To qualify as a participant (“Participant” / “you” / “your”) and a potential winner, you must:

7.1 be a natural person (not a juristic entity);

7.2 be 18 years or older;

7.3 own a valid driver’s licence in your name;

7.4 download the Absa Banking App;

7.5 follow the prompts in the Absa App to register digitally for an account and to enable you to transact; and

7.6 conduct any number of successful transactions on the banking App, BUT you MUST spend (purchase) at least R5 000.00 (in total) in those transactions on the Absa App during the Competition Period to qualify for the draw;

7.7 not be:

7.7.1 directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Organisers’ subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies or of the advertising or promotion agencies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Organisers; or

7.7.2 spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners of directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Organisers’ employees.

8. How to enter/participate in the competition?

A person who meets the requirements of 7 above, will be automatically added to the draw (and will have ‘entered’ the Competition) when they download an Absa Banking App and conduct any number of transactions in that banking App provided that you spend up to at least R 5 000.00 in transactions on the Absa App during the Competition Period.

9. Draw

9.1 The Organisers will conduct the draw at Absa’s premises or via a Teams (or, in Absa’s sole discretion, a similar/alternative virtual) call on 21 July 2026 in compliance with the applicable law, best industry practice and Absa’s business requirements.

9.2 The Organisers will announce the winner (“Winner”) on 26 July at the 702 Walk the talk event. Only one winner will be selected.

9.3 in Its sole discretion and if it is reasonably practicable, Absa will arrange for the winner to attend the announcement of the winner in person and to participate in the handover of the Prize at the 702 Walk the Talk on 26 July 2026 or an alternative venue in the Organisers’ sole discretion.

10. Prize

10.1 The winner will receive a brand new Mazda2 (“Prize”).

10.2 If this model of vehicle (Mazda2) is not available at the time of the draw, the Organisers shall be entitled to substitute the Mazda2 for another Mazda vehicle of the same/comparable value/quality.

10.3 The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferable

11. Publicity and data privacy

11. 1 By participating in the Competition, each Participant acknowledges that personal information about the Participant will be shared with the Organisers and their agents to the extent necessary to conduct the Competition and for the prize to be delivered to prize winner.

11.2 The Organisers may request that images/likeness of the winner be taken for publicity and advertising purposes, without the winner being entitled to any payment in consideration for such images. If you initially consent that your images/likeness, be takenfor publicity and advertising purposes, you may withdraw that consent later but before your images/likeness are used by the Organisers.

11.3 For the sake of clarity, all personal information relating to Participants will be used solely for the purpose of this Competition and in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation. The Participant may deny and/or (after having given it) withdraw their consent in relation to this Competition at any time

11.4 Participants understand and agree that they have no entitlement to royalties of the Organisers whatsoever, payment for pictures, videos, live feeds, recordings and the like captured of their participation of the Competition or profits made by Organisers for sales, public exposure or otherwise emanating from the content of or involving Participants that are used as aforesaid and the Participants hereby waive all claims for same and indemnify the Organisers from such claim now and in future.

12. General

12.1 The Organisers reserve the right to shorten, extend, suspend the period of the Competition or terminate the Competition without having chosen a winner whenever it should so choose for technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or for reasons beyond its control or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion. In such an event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they will have no right or recourse against the Organisers whatsoever in this regard.

12.2 The Participant waives any right which she/he may have against the Organisers as a result of such cancellation, suspension or termination of the Competition and completely indemnifies the Organisers from any claim arising therefrom.

12.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in this Competition, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Organisers, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from participating in the Competition.

12.3 To the extent permitted by law, the Organisers will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any claims arising from inaccurate information supplied by Participants. By participating in this Competition, Participants commit to always providing the Organisers with correct information.

12.4 RSA law shall govern these Competition terms and conditions, and the Courts of the RSA shall have jurisdiction.
